7-Elevens to be Converted to Kwik-E-Marts

In what may be the best marketing move for a movie in recent times, Fox and 7-Eleven convenience stores are in the works of striking up a deal to convert 11 of their stores to Kwik-E-Marts as seen in The Simpsons.

To make the deal even sweeter you will also be able to buy select items as featured from Simpsons such as Krusty O's cereal, Buzz cola, and of course the delicious Squishees.

All I want to know is where these eleven stores are located and when they're gonna be converted.

HTC P4550 aka Kaiser

the ONE and only reason that I want to switch to AT&T/Cingular when this comes out "mid-year" this year.

I've been patiently waiting for THE one mobile device for me and this one fulfills all my desires in a mobile device.

The spec list is huge but I'll list only the goodies...
  • loaded with Windows Mobile 6 Professional...
  • ...meaning touch screen
  • GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA which means fast data transfers
  • slide out QWERTY board with flip up action
  • microSD/usb/bluetooth/and wifi 802.11b and g for connectivity anywhere
  • GPS
  • 3.omp camera with autofocus
  • secondary camera on face of phone for video-conferencing
here are some preproduction pictures courtesy of mml.com.tw

If and when I do decide to make the switch to AT&T/Cingular for this device I urge you to do the right thing and make the switch with me....DO IT.

Infiniti G37 Coupe

Thats right...37...not 35. The next generation G series will get its engine bored out an extra .2 liters (4.6mm) and compression raised to 11.0:1 for a 3.7 liter V6 with some excellent power gains. Estimated to have around 330hp and 271 lb-ft of torque this coupe will have some much needed power gains and equally upgraded are the 14-in. front rotors and 13.8-in. rear rotors to stop this sexy beast. In case you're wondering those are after market big brake kit sizes on this bad boy.

We'll see who comes out on top when this car is released and pitted against its direct rival the BMW 335i sedan/coupe which has an equally impressive 3.5 liter inline-6 that is twin turbo charged.

Enjoy the pictures courtesy of Autoblog

during testing in Arizona which is why its so dirty.

my verdict? I'm gonna have to go with the G35 coupe on this one. I like how the 35 has a more aggressive look with a few more blunt edges and aggressive fender flares. The 37 has everything rounded off, the headlights, the taillights, the entire front end, its all rounded off and seems soft and unaggressive. The integrated spoiler on the 37 also does not look like it belongs there and seems that its too small for the back end. The 35's spoiler was much better looking and fit nicely along the whole back end. I do like the big brakes and the side profile of the car but for some reason it reminds me more of a Nissan than it should.

What do you think?

Springfield Contest & 300

20th Century Fox has issued a competition to the16 American towns that bear the name Springfield.

They are accepting video entries that all the Springfields are invited to submit that showcase why their town should be picked for the premier opening of The Simpsons movie that debuts this summer.

Stay tuned for the results and the winning town...

In other movie news...the movie 300 opens today.

Quick synopsis courtesy of www.moviefone.com

"Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, '300' is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy."

I'll be watching this movie today on Monday and will post my thoughts later. For those that are also planning on watching it, let me know what you thought of the movie.

BMW M3 Concept

Fresh off the press in Geneva comes the upcoming BMW M3 but just because BMW likes to tease us they add in the word "concept" which means they have the liberty to switch anything on the car without notice. Hopefully the production model will look just like the concept because it looks sexy.

It will have a V8 which I'm sure will put out around 400 horses or more. 19-inch alloy wheels, aluminum hood, and carbon fiber roof are all there to help shed some excess weight. The steering wheel seems to be covered in alacantra which is a welcome feature.

Can't wait for this to come out and see it put to the test along with its direct competitors the Lexus IS-F and the Audi RS4.

Stranger than Fiction.

I just finished watching what may be the best movie I've seen in quite some time. This movie started off as what seemed to be a normal movie but by the end of the movie I was literally on the end of my seat and my face less than a foot away from the screen in anticipation.

If my memory serves me correctly I have not yet to date seen any movie that made me do that and I applaud and highly recommend this movie to everyone. I also loved it because of the fact that it was not an in-your-face comedy that Will Ferrell is known for that practically demands laughter. It is definitely a movie of more emotions.

VERY brief synopsis: Harold Crick (Will Ferrell) finds his life/reality is being narrated by a writer Kay Eiffel (Emma Thompson) who also finds her writing is in fact happening in reality. One struggles to break their normal ways of life, while the other struggles to return to their former life.

The whole movie is great but the ending is incredible. If you have a spare 2 hours. Please use it wisely. Watch this movie. You won't regret it.

Total Lunar Eclipse this Sat. Night

After over 2 years we are finally able to experience a total lunar eclipse this weekend. On March 3 this Saturday we will see the moon disappear and reappear behind the shadow of Earth.

Unlike a solar eclipse you will not need a special device or filter to view this spectacle. You can use your own eyes or for a better view some binoculars or a telescope.

According to the time table on SkyTonight.com partial eclipse begins around 5:30pm AST and for people on EST we will see total eclipse at around 5:44pm once again in EST and you can catch the tail end by around 8:12pm EST. Unfortunately people in PST will not be able to view this phenomenon but I'm sure someone will take pictures.

The last time this happened was in 2004 so unless you want to wait another 2 years I suggest you take a drive out to a distance location far way from rural lights and take a moment to view this awesomeness. If anyone has a good enough camera take some pictures and let me know!

Remember your daily cup o' J and enjoy your lunar eclipsed weekend!
