Using your neighbor's WiFi? Know that it's illegal?
Have you ever sat down at your computer only to find that your internet connection isn't working? Have you ever then proceeded to scan for wireless signals and found that your next door neighbor has wireless with no password?
Did you know that using someone else's wireless internet connection without their knowledge is illegal?
Well now you do. I'll admit when my internet was down in the past I've looked to see if anyone had an unencrypted router set up. But I've never used it for more than a single day and certainly not to download anything.
Due to legality and personal security it is recommended that if you have a wireless router set up in your house that you set a password on it for your safety. All it takes is for someone that knows what to do to come hitch a ride on your wireless signal and proceed to partake in illegal activity (underage porn, copyright violations, credit card numbers, identity theft, etc.).
If you are sharing your connection with your neighbor intentionally then please do the right thing and set a password to keep outsiders out. It does not take more than 5 minutes to set up a password on your router and if you don't know how to do it then you can either read the manual or give the manufacturer a call and they will be able to help you out.
Until next time...practice safe wireless surfing.

Apple releases 8-Core Mac Pro
Apple has officially announced the first consumer ready 8-Core computer. Available with 8-core or quad-core Intel Xeon processor running at speeds from 2.0Ghz to 3.0Ghz. One of the most configurable systems out so far. Some options include...
Intel Xeon quad or 8 core running @ 2.0-3.0Ghz
up to 16GB of RAM
up to 3TB of hard drive space (thats 3,000GB!)
up to two dvd burners
4 PCI Express slots for graphics bonanza
configured as such along with 2 30 inch Apple Cinema displays racked up the total to about $15,000.
A reminder that such a beast of a machine is not needed for an average user or even hardcore graphics/video designers/editors UNTIL software that has been optimized for 4 or 8 cores is released.
Until then have fun dreaming about how much downloading you'd be doing with that much storage space and how fast your apps are going to run with all that RAM.

The following pictures are official pictures that have been released by Subaru.

Interior shots of the hatch

Sedan (rumored to be only sold in US)

My verdict? I'll stick with my 2002 model thank you very much. I'd even go for a 2006 model at that point but we'll wait and see what the STi model looks like.
*update
I have read that the STi is rumored to only be available in the Hatchback version ONLY.
Tis a sad day for Subaru WRX fans worldwide indeed.
