Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core?
ATI or Nvidia card?
Western Digital or Seagate HD?
Corsiar, Crucial, Kingston, etc. RAM?
Intel and AMD should be announcing price cuts for their current CPUs to introduce their new lineup so I will be waiting for that before I make my decision on that.
So what do you think?

intel / nvidia / wd raptor :D / corsair or gskill are nice. gskill being nice overclockers.
but AMD is soo much cheaper! =) it is a dilemma right now.
Make a nice indie computer; AMD, Lynx OS etc. i guess mac used to be indie. but i saw yesterday that there profit is up 74% since the iPhone, can't be having that for a flagship indie product.
i only really suggest Lynx because it'll save you about 300 Euro... but i do advise taking a look here:
